Since Georges Méliès took audiences on a trip to the Moon in 1902, filmmakers have been putting their visions of the future on the big screen. The latest to look at the near-future is "Real Steel" which sets its sights on 2020. The director, Shawn Levy, said he was more interested in telling a humanistic story than a traditional science fiction one. A look at how different films displayed the upcoming future here.
